Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina, has Chinese supermarkets in almost every street. Basia, who lives in Buenos Aires, is accustomed to buying inexpensive supplies from the Chinese supermarkets. At the same time, he guess that the Chinese owners must possess some Kong Fu.
Basia’s several friends, like himself, believe that the local Chinese have some hidden talents. The city geographically oppsite to Shanghai is still not familiar with Chinese Kong Fu.
In February 2018, the China Foreign Languages Bureau released the “Report on the Recognition of Chinese Discourse Overseas” for the first time. In the Chinese words ranked in the top 100 in recognition, the word “Shaolin” topped the list, and the martial arts vocabulary accounted for nearly one-tenth of the proportion.
Marvelous martial arts by the Chinese people are magical and profound in the eyes of foreigners. The “mysterious” Kung Fu, combined with China’s scientific and technological and economic progress, has made Basia and more other people at the other side of the planet wonder what the Chinese are really like.

Bruce Lee made Kung Fu popular all over the world half a century ago. I am afraid that his films and skills are still the main source of foreigners’ knowledge of Chinese Kung Fu.
Basia's ideas about Kong Fu derived from it , maybe so do many other Argentinean. Buenos Aires has colorful street culture and when Bsia was asked about the graffiti of the Chinese elements on the streets, he showed this picture:

China's films often leave people with the impression that Chinese Kung Fu is inscrutable. "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" as the first Chinese movie to win Oscar's best foreign language film, has also made the light and graceful movement a label for Chinese Kung Fu. Basia sometimes sees shopkeepers watching China's Xianxia TV dramas at Chinese supermarkets. He said that "when seeing the masters flying around, I feel that Chinese must have a mysterious power."
Kung Fu, with the most concern and lackage of correct pubulicity, has quietly growing in Argentina. Chen Min is a pioneer.
Chen Min, who retired from the Zhejiang Wushu Provincial Team, arrived in Argentina in 2008 and rented a venue at a tango club in Cordova Street, Buenos Aires. Her class has attracted more than 400 Argentina students since then.
Many Argentines arrived early in the class and were full of illusions about Chinese Kung Fu. They wanted to learn the routines they saw in movies. Chen Min had to explain that Chinese Kung Fu was not exactaly as what they imagined. She always tells the metaphor to her students: the Chinese food with cheese added is not real Chinese food.
Chen Min's professionalism and sense of responsibility have eased the sense of mysterious of Chinese martial arts. After a period of time, many students feel that their minds and bodies have been improved.
The most important feedback is from the parents of young students. The children who had been naughty and unrestrained have become obeying rules, and the delicate children have become brave. Chen Min said: "Kung Fu, or material arts was not noly originally a physical exercise, but also cultivation of heart, I hope to arouse the students awarness of respect for martial arts."
Chen Min has been firmly convinced that martial arts is a namecard for Chinese culture. It represents Chinese culture and traditional virtues contained in Kung Fu. Chen Min often interspersed with some stories full of sense of justice in teaching, and also incorporated elements of Chinese culture, such as self-denial, rites, love of youth, balance between yin and yang, and tranquility and wisdom. She remembered that some of the trainees had been quite sensible to say, it was the attitude of the Chinese people that he really learned from the training.
There are many this kind of martial arts training institutions in Buenos Aires.
In 2011, Disney made a children's family comedy “Super Dared Ghost” in South America. Chen Min became the second protagonist of the play becuase of her teaching. The film was later awarded the best children's program category in 2012 by Martin Feyello of Argentina. Some loyal drama riddles often follow the latest trends of Chen Min Wushu Club through Facebook and Twitter. Chen Min also actively promotes her martial arts culture through social networks.
The term “Kung Fu” refers to the realm of self-cultivation spirit or technique embodied in the realm of people in the context of Chinese culture, including martial arts.
Chinese Kung Fu is not a gorgeous punch and stunt in the movie. The real Chinese martial arts is developed in self-defense, standing in fitness, battling in the arena, learning in daily life, being contained in martial arts, and being attributed to morality. Chinese martial arts is a unique way to interpret China's culture in a foreign country. It inherits the Chinese people's spirit of self-improvement, dedication and diligence, and the deep connotation of unity between man and nature。
The Chinese Martial Arts Association and the director Wang Yunuo are jointly shooting new promotional videos. The new national cultural film will be produced in more than 30 languages including Spanish. Basia and his friends is looking forward to seeing the real Chinese Kung Fu, so do the rest of the world.
